Leef Brands appoints Hirsh Jain as independent director

Leef Brands Inc. named Hirsh Jain as an independent director to its board, strengthening board independence. Jain leads Ananda Strategy, a cannabis-focused advisory firm, and previously held positions at Airbnb and McKinsey. Kevin Wilson resigned from the board, resulting in a five-member board with three independent directors. The Audit Committee and Compensation Committee will now be fully independent, and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee will be majority independent.
