Gold slips as markets price Fed tightening; dollar firms
Spot gold fell 0.3% to $4,361.96/oz by 9:20 a.m. ET, as markets priced more US Fed monetary policy tightening this year and hawkish signals elsewhere supported the dollar.
Gold eased on Monday as markets priced in more monetary policy tightening this year from the US Federal Reserve and hawkish signals from other major central banks that strengthened the dollar. m. ET (1320 GMT). US gold futures were also lower.
