Celanese raises prices for acetyl products

Celanese Corporation announced price increases for a range of acetyl products, effective immediately or as contracts allow. The increases include $0.045/lb for Acetic Acid, Vinyl Acetate Monomer, Ethyl Acetate, and Acetic Anhydride in USA/Canada; $100/metric ton for these products in Mexico and EMEA; and $150/metric ton for Vinyl Acetate Monomer in South America, with other products at $100/metric ton.
