ONGC strikes gas at deepwater well off Odisha
ONGC said it struck gas at the MN-DW18-1-H-D well in the Mahanadi Offshore Basin off the Odisha coast under the Samudra Manthan initiative.
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) said on September 18, 2026 that it has struck gas at a deepwater well in the Mahanadi Offshore Basin, off the Odisha coast, under the Samudra Manthan initiative. The gas strike was made at the MN-DW18-1-H-D well at a depth of 1,441—1,452 metres.
