CanAlaska Uranium appoints James Sykes VP Exploration

CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. appointed James Sykes vice president of exploration, effective Sept. 21, 2026. Sykes will lead technical work to expand the Pike Zone discovery, targeting new uranium discoveries across the Athabasca Basin portfolio. He previously led NexGen’s Arrow deposit discovery and worked on Hathor and Rio Tinto Canada’s Roughrider deposit, and most recently served as CEO, president, director of Baselode Energy. Outgoing vice president exploration Nathan Bridge will move to an advisory role through Oct. 2, 2026.
