ONGC strikes gas in Mahanadi deepwater well off Odisha
ONGC said it struck gas at deepwater well MN-DW18-1-H-D in the Mahanadi Offshore Basin off the Odisha coast on September 18.
State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) said on Monday (September 21) that it struck gas at the deepwater well MN-DW18-1-H-D in the Mahanadi Offshore Basin off the Odisha coast on September 18. The well was drilled to a target depth of 1,623 metres and recorded the gas strike at 1,441 metres.
