United Airlines trims marginal December routes after fuel-hedge exit

United Airlines says it is tightening capacity and cutting marginal December routes as jet fuel costs rise because fuel is now unhedged. The airline plans to offset pressure with premium A321XLR East Coast–Europe services, Starlink, 4K seatback upgrades, and higher co-brand card revenue.
