Alkermes rises after positive early-stage ADHD drug data
Shares of Alkermes rose 7.2% to $46.51 premarket after the company said its experimental ADHD drug, ALKS 7290, reduced symptoms in adults in an early-stage study. Patients receiving the 20 mg dose had a median 14-point reduction from baseline on a 54-point scale used to assess ADHD symptoms after 14 days, while those receiving 50 mg had a 19-point reduction.

On a 54-point scale used to assess ADHD symptoms, patients given the 20 mg dose had a median 14-point reduction from baseline after 14 days, while those on 50 mg had a 19-point reduction.
The company is enrolling about 312 adults in a mid-stage study testing three dosing regimens against placebo, with data expected in 2027. 1% year to date.
