Silver47 reports 80% silver, 77% gold extraction in cyanide leach tests
Silver47 reported metallurgical tests on Belmont mine tailings at its Hughes Project in Nevada, targeting reprocessing of a 2.74 Moz AgEq inferred resource. Fine-grind agitated cyanide leach returned 80% silver extraction, 77% gold extraction, supporting conventional processing over heap leaching. Grinding to P80 53 microns lifted silver recovery by about 13 percentage points, gold by 18 percentage points versus as-received material. Tailings composites graded 0.27-0.28 g/t gold, 40.6-45.4 g/t silver; inferred resource totals 1.26 Mt on private land.
