Hivest Capital, Bpifrance sell Rail Europe to Omio Group

Hivest Capital and Bpifrance have agreed to sell Rail Europe to Omio Group, a deal announced Sept. 17, 2026. Rail Europe will join Omio to expand multimodal travel distribution and international reach across B2B and B2C channels. Hivest and Bpifrance had bought Rail Europe from SNCF and SBB/CFF in 2022. Rail Europe serves 4 million travelers a year and works with 250 rail operators.
