Micron's Taiwan union plans strike vote after failed mediation

Micron Technology Inc's union in Taoyuan, Taiwan, plans to hold a strike vote after mediation talks with the company ended without an agreement. The union stated that the company did not offer a concrete profit-sharing proposal during the mediation. A second mediation meeting for Micron's Taichung union is scheduled for Oct. 22.
