Terna: Italy electricity consumption up 16.5% in August

Italy's electricity consumption rose 16.5% in August compared to the same month last year, grid operator Terna said on Tuesday. Industrial consumption was up 1.1% year-on-year in August. Consumption from renewable sources accounted for 41.4% of the total in August.
