Metso expands Peru footprint with local screen media manufacturing in Lima

Metso launched local production of screen panels for mining screens in Peru, expanding manufacturing at its Lima mill-lining plant. Added a new rubber injection machine to produce customized PS screen panels, targeting faster replacement cycles for mine customers. Annual capacity exceeds 28,000 panels, produced in 1x1-foot or 1x2-foot formats using 40 Shore or 60 Shore rubber. Local quality-control lab will certify output to Metso’s global specifications, supporting the Lima site’s role as a regional manufacturing hub.
