Mitsubishi Corp to invest JPY 120 billion to lift Ayala stake to 20%

Mitsubishi Corp has signed a definitive agreement to buy additional shares in Ayala Corp, investing approximately JPY 120 billion to increase its voting stake to 20%. The transaction is expected to close within fiscal year 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and tender offer conditions.
