Cox unit awarded $235 million plus interest in arbitration

Ghana is obliged under a sovereign guarantee to satisfy amounts awarded by arbitrators to Cox Infrastructure Group SA's unit BDDG, net of taxes, in termination payments under a WPA, with accrued interest from April 1, 2026, until payment. Gwcl is also required to partially reimburse BDDG for legal costs. Counterclaims against BDDG, including a $144.5 million claim, were dismissed.
