Facebook, Instagram services restored after brief US outage

Meta Platforms' Facebook and Instagram services recovered on Sunday after a brief outage disrupted service for thousands of users in the U.S. Outages tracking website Downdetector.com reported over 17,000 reports of outages on Facebook and more than 5,000 on Instagram at their peak.
