OMV to fund standalone €600m Austrian hydrogen project
OMV says it will press ahead solo on a ~€600m Austrian hydrogen project, largely financed with a €450m EIB loan and expected Austrian public support.
OMV Aktiengesellschaft (VIE:OMV) will press ahead on its Austrian hydrogen project on a standalone basis, with total spending of about €600m. The plan is being financed in part by a €450m EIB loan and is expected to receive Austrian public support. OMV also said it has made an oil discovery in Libya, estimating up to 45m barrels and potential output of about 6,000 bpd.
