Australia's Anson Resources rises on potential lithium offtake deal

Anson Resources shares rose as much as 5.7% to A$0.0465, their highest since Sept. 11, after entering into a non-binding MOU with Wogen Resources America and Xcelsior Capital Advisors to evaluate a potential long-term offtake for lithium carbonate equivalent from its Green River Lithium Project in Utah.

The mineral resources company said it has entered into a non-binding MOU with specialist metals and minerals trader Wogen Resources America and critical-minerals financing adviser Xcelsior Capital Advisors. The companies will evaluate and negotiate a potential long-term offtake arrangement for about 2,000 to 6,000 tonnes per annum of lithium carbonate equivalent from Anson's Green River Lithium Project in Utah, USA.

Anson also said it will evaluate and negotiate potential financing or investment in the Green River Lithium Project by Xcelsior, working with Wogen. Year to date, the stock is down about 31%.
