POSCO to invest KRW 480 billion in new automotive steel line

POSCO Holdings Inc. will invest KRW 480 billion to build a new continuous galvanizing line for automotive steel at its Gwangyang Works. The No. 8 line will produce 450,000 metric tons a year of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet for vehicle exterior panels. Completion is scheduled for 2028, lifting annual hot-dip galvanized sheet capacity to 4,950,000 metric tons.
