Chery-backed Freelander launches global brand in Abu Dhabi, taps UAE as first overseas market

Chery Automobile is launching its FREELANDER brand globally in Abu Dhabi on Sept. 29, targeting the UAE as its first overseas market. Local dealer network set ahead of the rollout, with Al Tayer Motors covering Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Premier Motors covering Abu Dhabi. Event will debut the FREELANDER 8 international variant, positioning the Middle East as the first stop in a wider expansion plan.
