Meta Platforms Facebook and Instagram down for thousands in US
Thousands of users in the U.S. reported issues with Meta's Facebook and Instagram platforms on Sunday, according to outage tracker Downdetector.com. As of 9:11 PM ET, Downdetector had logged over 17,000 reports for Facebook and more than 5,000 for Instagram.
S. com. com said there were more than 17,000 reports of issues with Facebook as of 9:11 PM ET, and more than 5,000 outages on Instagram. The site tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources.
