UK property asking prices rise for first time since May, Rightmove says
British property sellers have increased asking prices for their homes for the first time since May, according to real estate website Rightmove. Prices rose 0.7% between Aug. 9 and Sept. 12, a bigger monthly increase than average for the time of year. Asking prices were 0.8% lower than a year earlier, and the number of homes available to purchase hit a 12-year high, while buyer enquiries were down 9% from last year.
