(Adds detail including requested shipment periods) HAMBURG, Sept 20 (Reuters) — A government agency in Pakistan has issued an international tender to purchase and import 185,000 metric tons of wheat, European traders said on Sunday. The deadline for price offers in the tender from the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) is September 28. A new announcement had been expected by traders after Pakistan bought 365,000 tons of wheat on Saturday in a tender that closed last week seeking up to 750,000 tons. GRA/TEND Traders said Pakistan is believed to have a substantial import requirement to cool domestic prices after a disappointing domestic harvest. The wheat sought in the tender can be sourced from any worldwide origins apart from Israel and India or from other countries banned or under sanctions imposed by Pakistan. Shipment is sought in consignments of at least 60,000 tons to the ports of Karachi and/or Gwadar between November 1 and November 15. Shipments must be organised so that the wheat arrives in Pakistan by December 15 at the latest.
