Maruti Suzuki targets 1 million green vehicles in FY27
Maruti Suzuki India says it is targeting 1 million “green vehicle” sales in the current financial year, spanning CNG, hybrid and EV, aided by rising crude prices and automatic transmission in CNG variants. It has launched an automatic S-CNG range.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) is targeting 1 million green vehicle sales this financial year, covering CNG, hybrid and EV models, supported by structural tailwinds including rising crude prices and the introduction of automatic transmission in CNG variants. The car market leader said the push comes as demand for greener offerings is helped by those factors.
