US Cash Products — Chicago gasoline, diesel rise after refinery outages
NEW YORK, Sept 18 (Reuters) — Cash differentials for gasoline and diesel extended recent gains in the Chicago spot market due to refinery outages, traders said. Chicago CBOB gasoline gained 1.25 cents to 36.25 cents above the RBOB gasoline futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange, traders said. Chicago ultra-low sulfur diesel gained 2.75 cents to 62.75 cents above the ULSD futures benchmark. Elsewhere in the Midwest, Group 3 V-grade gasoline gained 1.75 cents to 11.25 cents above futures. Group 3 diesel gained 2 cents to 7.25 cents above the benchmark, market participants said. U.S. Gulf Coast M3 conventional gasoline fell 2.5 cents to 50.25 cents above futures, while A3 CBOB gasoline rose three quarters of a cent to 17.25 cents above futures, traders said. Gulf Coast 62-grade ULSD gained a quarter of a cent to 10.25 cents above futures. Benchmark gasoline futures rose 2.03 cents to settle at $3.5276 a gallon, and ULSD futures fell 5.61 cents to close at $5.0578 a gallon. Renewable fuel (D6) credits for 2026 fell to $1.82 each, from $2.00 each in the previous session, traders said.
