Speculators switch from long to short position in arabica coffee
NEW YORK, Sept 18 (Reuters) — Speculators switched from long to short position in arabica coffee futures on ICE US in the week to September 15, while cutting their bullish bet in futures of raw sugar, data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission showed on Friday. ICE sugar speculators cut their net long position by 584 contracts to 105,531. ICE coffee speculators switched to a net short position of 1,716 contracts. ICE cocoa speculators increased their net short position by 1,027 contracts to 19,396. ICE cotton speculators cut their net long position by 7,231 contracts to 80,676.
