Sept 18 (Reuters) — Equity fund managers cut their net long positions in S&P 500 futures contracts in the week ended Sept 15 by 8,137 to 899,633, U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission data showed on Friday. Equity fund speculators trimmed their net short positions by 48,186 to 288,457, the data showed.
