North Sea Crude — Vitol buys two WTI cargoes

LONDON, Sept 18 — Differentials for U.S. WTI Midland delivered to Europe firmed on Friday as Vitol bought two cargoes, in an otherwise quiet session. Platts Window Indications are free on board unless marked as cost, insurance and freight or delivered at place. WTI Midland: Vitol bought an October 11 to 15 cargo from Glencore at dated Brent plus $18.30 CIF Rotterdam, and an October 18 to 22 cargo from Petroineos at dated plus $17.30 CIF Rotterdam. The midpoint of the day's deals, dated plus $17.80 CIF, equated to a $12.79 premium to dated Brent on a FOB basis, Reuters calculations showed. On Thursday, Glencore sold an October 6 to 10 WTI Midland cargo to Vitol at Dated Brent plus $15.15 a barrel CIF Rotterdam, Total bought an October 11 to 15 cargo from Glencore at Dated Brent plus $17.50 a barrel CIF Rotterdam, and Chevron sold an October 16 to 20 cargo to Vitol at Dated Brent plus $17.30 a barrel CIF Rotterdam.
