Ethiopian Airlines delays regional jet order by a few months
By Joanna Plucinska LONDON, Sept 18 (Reuters) — Ethiopian Airlines has slightly delayed its decision on an order of 25 smaller regional jets, CEO Mesfin Tasew Bekele said on Friday, after the executive said in June the decision would be made by September. Tasew Bekele said the decision would now be made in the next few months and that the carrier was going to order 25 jets either from Embraer's E-2 series or Airbus A220s. He did not mention Boeing's 737 MAX 7 as an option as he had in June. (Reporting by Joanna Plucinska; Editing by Toby Chopra) ((joanna.plucinska@thomsonreuters.com, +44 7721 669853)
