BEIJING, Sept 18 (Reuters) — China's fiscal revenue rose 5.7% in the first eight months of 2026 from a year earlier, finance ministry data showed Friday, slightly down from a 5.8% growth in the January-July period. Fiscal expenditure grew 1.2% year-on-yea over the January-August period, compared with a 1.3% increase in the first seven months. Last month, China's Vice Finance Minister Liao Min said authorities were preparing new fiscal-financial support measures to roll out in the second half of this year and Beijing will refine its policy toolkit as economic conditions evolve.
