Osaka Gas to buy 5% stake in BP’s Browse project
Osaka Gas said it agreed to buy a 5% stake in the Browse gas project offshore Western Australia from BP, strengthening its LNG supply portfolio.
Japan's Osaka Gas TSE:9532 said on Friday it agreed to buy a 5% stake in the Browse gas project offshore Western Australia from BP LSE:BP, in a move that will strengthen its liquefied natural gas supply portfolio. The purchase will be carried out through Osaka Gas Browse, a company to be jointly owned by Osaka Gas.
