Ecopetrol names Carlos Augusto Suarez board chairman

Colombian state oil firm Ecopetrol BVC:ECOPETROL said on Thursday it has appointed Carlos Augusto Suarez, who worked on President Abelardo De La Espriella's campaign, as chairman of the board. Suarez succeeds Luis Felipe Henao, who had previously served as board chairman.
