RBA chief warns inflation risks appear to be materialising
SYDNEY, Sept 18 (Reuters) — Australia's top central banker said on Friday some of the upside risks to inflation appeared to be materialising, with the Middle East conflict and the AI boom putting upward pressure on prices. Appearing before lawmakers, Michele Bullock, Governor of Reserve Bank of Australia, said a key question is whether the tightening in monetary policy to date would be sufficient to bring inflation back to target in a reasonable time.
