US stocks and bonds rally as oil eases inflation concerns

S&P 500 rose 1.1% and Nasdaq 100 gained 1.7% as declining oil supported contained-inflation hopes after the Fed’s rate increase. The 10-year Treasury yield fell from its highest level since 2007, with gold up and Brent settling below $105 a barrel.

Traders are now focused on the Bank of Japan, which is expected to raise rates on Friday amid persistent inflation risks, in what would be its closest-spaced rate increases since 1990.
