Putin projects Russia 2027 budget deficit around 2% of GDP
Putin said Russia’s budget deficit is projected at around 2% of GDP in 2027 and GDP growth could reach up to 1% in 2026.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia's budget deficit is projected to be around 2% of gross domestic product in 2027. He added that the economy is expected to grow by up to 1% in 2026.
