KCM signs $498 million deal for copper recovery plant
Vedanta’s Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) has signed a $498 million deal with China’s NERIN Engineering to build a copper recovery plant using metal extracted from existing mine tailings, targeting 70,000 metric tons of annual output.
Vedanta's NSE:VEDL Konkola Copper Mines said it has signed a $498 million deal with China's NERIN Engineering SSE:603257 to build a copper recovery plant. The project is expected to add 70000 metric tons of annual output by extracting metal from existing mine tailings.
