Copper prices rose on Thursday as Chinese buyers came back to the market after a recent selloff, while demand prospects improved and the market ignored a US interest-rate increase. Benchmark copper LME:CA1! on the London Metal Exchange was up 1% at $14,382 a metric ton at 1044 GMT.
