Central Bank of Oman raises repo rate to 4.5%
The Central Bank of Oman raised its repo rate to 4.5%, effective Thursday, its first upward move since July 2023.
5 per cent effective Thursday, its first increase since the repo rate was lifted to 6 per cent in July 2023. The move followed the US Federal Reserve’s quarter-point increase on Wednesday.
