FDA approves Bayer’s KERENDIA (finerenone) for CKD with type 1 diabetes

Bayer said the FDA approved KERENDIA (finerenone) to reduce urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) in adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and type 1 diabetes, with the therapy expected to reduce the risk of sustained eGFR decline and end-stage kidney disease.
