The Karnataka High Court has quashed a 482.70 crore penalty imposed by the state government on cement major ACC Ltd over limestone mining operations in Kalaburagi district, a major relief for the Adani Group company. A division bench comprising Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice KS Hemaleka issued the order.
