IBM wins $1 billion U.S. grant for quantum microchip foundry
IBM has received $1 billion from the U.S. federal government for a quantum microchip foundry. The funding is a research-and-development grant to build the U.S. first quantum microchip foundry, via IBM subsidiary Ander on from the U.S. Commerce Department.
