UMG sues DistroKid over alleged AI-generated ‘slop’ distribution

Universal Music Group sued online music distributor DistroKid in Delaware federal court, alleging copyright infringement and that DistroKid is flooding platforms with AI-generated “slop” music that siphons revenue and listeners from legitimate artists.
