Canadian housing starts miss expectations in August
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation data showed seasonally adjusted annualized housing starts edged down to 229,046 units in August from a revised 229,360 in July.
Canadian housing starts came in below expectations in August, data from the national housing agency showed on Wednesday. The seasonally adjusted annualized rate of housing starts slipped to 229,046 units from a revised 229,360 units in July, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation said.
