DAX Bounces Back

Frankfurt's DAX 40 rose 0.3% to near 25,490 on Wednesday, halting two sessions of losses, as softer oil prices and lower global bond yields provided some relief. This was despite ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Meanwhile, the focus turned to the Fed’s policy decision later in the day, with a 25-basis-point rate hike already fully priced in. The tech sector provided the main support, with stocks benefiting from the AI boom posting the biggest gains. Hochtief, Infineon Technologies and Siemens Energy rose between 1.7%-3.2%. In the meantime, BMW shares rose by 1.7% after private bank Berenberg upgraded the automaker's stock from "Hold" to "Buy."
