Asian cash markets finished lower: the Nikkei 225 closed down 0.01 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 0.51 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed down 0.61 percent, the KOSPI closed down 0.85 percent and the ASX 200 closed down 0.79 percent. Asian volume leaders were SoftBank Group up 7.54 percent, Xiaomi down 2.06 percent, Alibaba up 1.23 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ down 1.4 percent and AIA Group up 0.86 percent.
