Live Cattle futures rally as cash prices provide support.

Live Cattle futures continue to move higher, adding $13 since the beginning of the month as markets anticipate higher cash prices. The October contract gained $2.83 to reach $222.50, with CVOL for Live Cattle measuring 17.3%. Feeder Cattle futures also extended their rebound, climbing $26 over the past two weeks while markets monitor potential impacts from duty-free beef imports. The October Feeder contract rose $5.55 to $338.05. Conversely, Lean Hog futures faced liquidation pressure, falling to new contract lows amid plentiful supplies. The October Lean Hog contract dropped $2.35 to $79.17.
