Corn and Soybean futures react to latest WASDE estimates.

Markets parse the latest World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates from the USDA. U.S. corn production reached 15.8 billion bushels, down from last month's 16.01 billion, while corn yields fell 2.2 bushels per acre. Soybean yields saw a slight increase to 52.8 bushels per acre, driving production to 4.535 billion bushels—above analyst expectations. In wheat, U.S. ending stocks remained steady at 717 million bushels, but world stocks surprised to the upside at 276.29 million metric tons. Both Corn and Soybean futures ended the week lower following the data release.
