Energy Holdings agreed to buy Ventura Offshore

Bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals reported by 0930 GMT on Friday included Cyprus-based oil and gas company Energy Holdings OSL:ENH agreeing to buy deepwater drilling contractor Ventura Offshore OSL:VTURA. The companies said the deal is intended to create a larger platform for cash generation and shareholder distribution.
