CNB says August inflation rose to 1.9% from 1.7% in July

Czech National Bank commentary on August inflation said annual inflation rose to 1.9% in August from 1.7% in July. CNB attributed the rise mainly to further fuel price increases, partly offset by continued food price declines.

7% in July, as expected, on Thursday. It said the increase was driven mainly by a further marked rise in fuel prices, partly offset by a continued decline in food prices.
