China buys about 1M tons of U.S. soybeans ahead of Xi visit

China has purchased around 1M metric tons of U.S. soybeans this week ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s expected visit to the U.S. later this month, State-owned traders Sinograin and COFCO are believed to have made the latest purchases.
